What is the Template System?

Overview

So what exactly is a web template? A web template is the functional combination of various technologies into one unified system. For example, our Template System combines Cascading Style Sheets, Included Content, Predefined Directory Structures and Valid HTML into one system. The result is that each page follows a simple set of rules. This benefits both the developer and the end user in several ways. For the developer, effectively utilizing The Template System makes updating and creating new pages very easy, and helps in the maintenance and upgrade of accessibility features, as well as site design. For the end user, The Template System provides a common look and feel throughout, and is easy to navigate.

Some portions of the Template System are not easily covered in a technical sense. You should take some time to consider the overall benefits before planning your site. Let's examine some of them further.
